More information
On a private ride here’s no waiting on others, no adjusting to a stranger’s pace, and no shared guide. Your guide is focused entirely on you — your skill level, your speed, your stops. If someone in your group wants to take an extra few minutes to get a shot of the frost-covered pines, you stop. If everyone’s feeling confident and wants to push a little further, you push.
Imagine heading out at first light with your friends or family, the trail ahead completely clear, your guide in front setting a pace that fits your group from the very first kilometre. That’s what a private ride feels like — unhurried, personal, and built around the people you came with.
All three durations follow well-maintained forested and hilly trails of the Upper Laurentians on a Ski-Doo Expedition Sport or Grand Touring 900 ACE.
- The 2h ride gives you a real feel for the terrain and is a strong choice for a first-time group or a group with younger passengers.
- The 4h takes you further into the backcountry and includes a mid-trail break in the woods — bring something to eat.
- The 6h is for groups who want to cover serious ground and spend the better part of a winter day on the sled.
- All options include 3 to 4 stops to swap drivers and passengers and take photos.
- The evening departure runs on the same 2h route. Riding at night with your own group — headlights cutting through the dark forest, very few other sleds on the trail — is a genuinely different experience from the daytime ride.
