Discover the forest trails of the Upper Laurentians on our 2-hour
guided snowmobile tour. You’ll drive a comfortable Expedition Sport or Grand Touring 900 ACE snowmobile on well-maintained trails that wind through the woods.
To get started, you’ll be greeted at our base to sign in and get suited up. Our guide will do a security briefing before leading you out on the trails The guide will make sure to respect the rhythm and level of the group, making sure everyone is comfortable with the pace. During the tour, you’ll stop one or two times (5-10 minutes) to take pictures of the views and switch drivers and passengers, if you wish.
Evening Tour Option: The evening ride is the perfect way to discover the boreal forest from a new perspective on a 2-hour guided tour.
Know before you book:
- Passenger 5 years minimum and 48” (122 cm) minimum in height is required. Children must be able to stand on their own behind the adult, using the handles provided for this purpose, and their feet must be fully supported on the snowmobile's footrests.
- Children must be able to hold-on themselves, behind the adult.
- No expectant mothers.
- Drivers must be 21 years minimum and have a valid driver’s license in hand throughout the snowmobile tour (copy or photo not accepted).
- Participants who are 18 yrs or more can drive with a parent (and a valid driver’s license).
- Maximum weight 550lbs/249kg per snowmobile
Know before you go:
- Please dress appropriately for snowmobiling. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.
- Balaclava mask is mandatory but not included: can be bought on site.
- Recommended personal effects to bring: thermal underwear, woolen socks, wool or fleece vest, neck warmer, camera, hot pad, balaclava
Additional information :
- Our base is 1 hour from Tremblant Resort, 2h30 from Montreal and 2h30 from Ottawa. We offer transport to this base from The Activity Centre.
- Our office and transport pick-up is from this location. Our tours actually depart from trails between 30 and 55 minutes, away depending on conditions. When you reserve your spots you’ll be asked to choose to either come to our office to hop on our shuttle OR or get driving directions to drive directly to the departure point. This choice needs to be made when you reserve.
- We recommend renting a car in Montreal if you are coming to visit the Mont-Tremblant area and want to get around easily. We are in a rural area so taxis/rideshare can be limited in high season.
- Duration: 2h depending on weather conditions.
- Security deposit: A credit card is required (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex—no cash). Two options: preauthorization of $3,000 per snowmobile, or preauthorization of $500 per snowmobile + $50 non-refundable per snowmobile. Maximum security deposit of $10,000 for a group (4 snowmobiles +), with a liability of $3,000 per snowmobile.
- For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
- Prices do not include taxes or mandatory resort royalty of 3% and may be subject to change without notice.
