More information

We have two types of bikes available — gravel and road. Here’s how they differ:

Gravel Bike — Mix It Up

A gravel bike handles both paved and unpaved surfaces, making it the ideal choice for the P’tit Train du Nord trail, which alternates between asphalt and packed gravel. If you want to explore deeper into the region and mix up the terrain, the gravel bike is your best option. Available in standard (non-electric) only.

Road Bike — Built for the Pavement

A road bike is designed for speed and efficiency on paved roads. It’s the right pick for cyclists who want to train, cover distance, or enjoy the scenic country roads and secondary highways around Mont-Tremblant. Road bikes are available in both standard and electric versions — the electric version adds pedal-assist to make longer rides and hilly stretches more accessible.

The ride in Mont-Tremblant area

From the Mont-Tremblant town, you’re steps from Le P’tit Train du Nord linear park — a 200 km trail stretching from Saint-Jérôme to Mont-Laurier, with both paved and unpaved sections that mix up the ride beautifully. Follow it north toward the treetop walk and take in the view of the Laurentian Forest from above. It’s a perfect spot for lunch mid-ride.

From our Tremblant resort location, cross the Jack Rabbit Bridge and take the contre-courant trail to Domaine Saint-Bernard — where even more bike trails and a lake for swimming await. Or ride the paved 11.6 km La Villageoise-de-Mont-Tremblant multifunctional trail, which links Tremblant resort to Mont-Tremblant Village for a great out-and-back option.

Combine your ride with a treetop walk — reserve our Bike Rental & Treetop Walk package. Or add a full day at Domaine Saint-Bernard — reserve daily access here.

Who Is This For?

Gravel biking on the P’tit Train du Nord is accessible to riders of all levels — including families and casual cyclists. Our road bikes are best suited to experienced cyclists comfortable on country roads and secondary highways. The electric road bike is ideal for guests who want to cover more ground or need a little assist on the hills.

Rental durations: 2 hours, 4 hours, or full day. Multi-day rentals are also available.
